Orinoco does look like fun and a very steady hand, wish I had a steady hand. My Dad was the one who decorated the cakes and cookies...well us kids helped with the cookies. Dad would decorate our birthday cakes did a beautiful job, could make roses out of icing, just beautiful. He taught himself, he could also embroider. He embroidered The Lords Prayer, it hung in our house for many, many years. Has your weather warmed up? We're just having the opposite, yesterday it didn't get over 25 degrees, but it was sunny. Very deceiving looks bright and sunny and is bitterly cold. Be safe and stay warm.

Orinoco actually we're not having opposite weather if we're both cold. I meant when your weather gets back to normal. My uncle in Boca Raton, Florida doesn't have a heater in his house and there have been times he wished for one also. Be safe.

Drambo, do you still have the Lord's Prayer embroidery? Former NFL football player Rosey Grier used to do needlepoint.

Trynfindit, yes I do have the Lords Prayer. I was the only one of the 6 of us that as my mother put " showed an interest in it ". Have it and a color crayon picture my mother made on a piece of cloth. She made it when she was 13. When she came across it, it was badly faded, so I snuck it out of the house took it home and went over the colors with my fabric paint, got as close to the original colors as I could. When I took it back finished, she broke down in tears. She framed it and hung it next to the Lords Prayer and when we moved here 22 years ago she gave them both to me. They are hanging side by side here in my house. Those 2 things mean so very much to me especially since Mom and Dad are gone now. I do remember that Rosey Grier did needlepoint because at the time I had never heard of any other men doing needle work except Dad...really surprised me. Guess I have gabbed enough, everyone be safe.

Your Lord's Prayer and crayon painting are precious gifts for sure. And I loved your story as I'm sure many others have. Don't worry about 'gabbing'; some stories are just too good to cut short.
Nice puzzle but not too easy! Getting ready to go meet my SLERP group! --(Spring Lake Elementary Retired People). We meet once a month for lunch. These are people I had contact with when I taught.
