My Honey & I had the wonderful experience of going up in a balloon in California. Fun seeing some of the small wild animals running below. Upon landing had a great picnic lunch in wine country. He's gone now, but I am so grateful for all the memories of the trips and fun we shared.

Have been in several. Can't do it now since my body won't co-operate to get into the basket. That's what happens as you get older.

Oh no, I hope it's not too late for me. I'd love to go up in one.

I have always loved to watch hot air balloons and have absolutely no courage to go up in one. I need to conquer my phobia of heights! Fun puzzle. Blessings to all and if you are in the Midwest, keep warm. Our wind chill temperatures for tomorrow are supposed to be -60 F. Have I mentioned that I hate winter?!?!?!

I hate it too. We used to live in the Catskills and one Feb. it hit an actual forty below. No wind chill was counted in.
I did like being in the mountins in spite of the cold. Every season was beautiful. It has only gone to about twenty below where we are now and that is not the usual low of minus fifteen. While living near a lake is pretty, it doesn't come close to the beauty of the mountains and so doesn't (fo me) offset teh miserable winter weather.

I have been in one of those and it was amazing.

"Deep in my heart I know I am a loner. I have tried to blend in with the world and be sociable, but the more people I meet the more disappointed I am, so I've learned to enjoy myself, my family and a few good friends." Unknown

[Wow, me to a "t"]

"I wish for you the wisdom to realize that you can let go of a past relationship without letting go of the lessons it taught you." unknown

Good night and God bless. Hugs.

When I lived in Bristol, CT the balloons got together once a month. They flew right over my house just after takeoff. You'd never know they were there if it wasn't for the throwers. We would hear the loud blasts and that would wake us up.

That second quote fits me perfectly. Letting go is hard, but until you learn the lesson from the relationship, you won't be able to let go......words from experience. Thanks, aussie!
