I make a Swedish mulled wine every Christmas - it's a bit complicated to make, this recipe! At one point you pour whiskey into the warmed wine and set it on fire - then dunk a sieve with sugar cubes in it until the sugar is all melted. It has cinnamon, cloves and cardamom in it as well. Delicious...and very potent!
Just right for these cold blustery days. It was warmer in the mountains this weekend. And it was stormy and rainy and about 37*. 60* here feels colder because the north winds are blowing. Loved the puzzle.
