The sands of time are slowly pouring out as we keep on striving to move forward. I have 3 semesters starting on Monday. How these past 4 weeks just flew by like the sands of time. I start my practicum in 2 weeks and I am really nervous about it. I do not know how my husband is going to be by himself for a few hours every day. I hate leaving him alone. I have no one to stay with him either. Please pray that everything will work out. I really need this course if I am to graduate in May.
Mamag you have my prayer that God will see you and your husband through this time and bring both of you strength, peace and satisfaction in your endeavors.

Mamag, give your request to God. It will be answered and help will come, perhaps in a form you never expected.

Thank you trynfind and aknan for your thoughts and prayers. I am trying to find a school that is close by. However, I can not choose it. It has to go through Liberty University. I did contact someone who handles the practicum for special courses like this. Right now, I am leaving it all in God's hands and hope things will work out. I saw a mentor yesterday and this bible verse I chose is perfect. It is Jer.29:11. The Lord knows the plans and the future. And they are good plans. I will just do the best I can and move forward. Thank you again my dear friends.

Is there a senior center anywhere near where you either live or will be taking your practicum? Is he ambulatory? Perhaps if he is there is a center, you can speak to the administrator or manager and ask if they'd be willing to have him as a guest -- and watch that he's safe and sound when you come to get him? Explain your circumstances. If they can't, they may have a suggestion. Will pray a solution is found.
I love my soap opera. I only watch one but it's the same one I've watched for many years. It was always my dream to be an actress on my favorite soap opera. My mother and I would watch it together.
I had a neighbor years ago and her whole life revolved around this series. Got me involved as well and one day I thought, such a waste of time and stopped watching it.
I stopped watching soap operas one day when I found myself sitting and crying in front of the TV. There is enough to deal with in this life without making yourself sad over a TV show. Time is better spent on reality.

Aussie when my Mom became to disabled she started watching soaps, never could understand it. Everything that happens is so over the top and they all have plenty of money....not at all real, but I guess that's why people watch them. Aussie have you heard anything from Malko? The holidays must have been hard for her and family. If you hear from her, let her know she is still in my thoughts and prayers.

I've never understood the attraction, either. So artificial and to me, silly.

When I lived in Honduras, the "soaps" came on at night during "primetime" TV. There was one, of which I cannot remember the name, whose whole plot was the marriage of a father to his daughter.....yeah, you read it right! Now, that was the dumbest thing I have seen on TV and it had most of the women mesmerized because the "dad" was so handsome. I had it barred from our house, but if we went out, they watched it!

When I was younger, I used to watch soaps with my grandmother. I do not like them as they are so corny.

When I was recovering from an illness many decades ago I tried watching soaps. It didn't take long to determine that whatever happened in one soap soon happened in all the others.
I had a neighbor years ago and her whole life revolved around this series. Got me involved as well and one day I thought, such a waste of time and stopped watching it.
Good night and God bless. Hugs.
