Happy Thanksgiving! Tomorrow is the big day, so I'm off today to Prescott (AZ) to meet with my big family for the thankful meal. There's usually around 35-40 people there, and this year we have a newborn baby. Always a delight. Interesting way the Lord works, this newborn babe is the great grandson of my brother who died last year, just before Thanksgiving. The circle of life goes on.
Decided to do this one again since I watched April for a while and then saw the birth of her baby boy giraffe. Very interesting. Puzzle took longer than I thought it would.
Greetings! My girlfriend used to work at the Providence Zoo in charge of giraffes--remember Grriffy? He used to french kiss her after a treat!

Elijah- where did you see the birth? I live across the Bay from the Zoo--Do u know if the public can see the Baby Boy? If so, I'll take the grandkids. They are having a name contest at the Zoo. Should be fun.

Just saw on the computer 2 employees weighing the little guy. So cute. The guy got on the scale holding the giraffe. They didn't say how much he weighed. I clicked on the web site from a news letter. You are lucky to be that close to the Zoo. Just call them and ask.

I watched on our TV local news...we use a Zoo camera here & they show things on my favorite channel here also for our zoo's camera. They have been following your giraffe for us.

They had a live cam on today and they weighed the little giraffe. The guy got on the scales holding the giraffe. Quite a site.
Maybe their poop would be good garden fertilizer - look at the bright side Jamie hehehe. Hugs.

Giraffes were my mom's favorite. I made an upholstered one for her that stands 5 feet tall and it's now in my living room. (She died a while ago.)

Jamie..........if I were wealthy I would have my own rescue world for all animals.
Aussie.....poop and all. But I don't think my neighbors would like them peeking over the fence.
Aussie, poop and all.

If I were very wealthy I'd want to buy up the rain forest to protect it.

Pixi.....I don't think we could ever have enough wealth to buy up the rain forest however, it's a wonderful wish.

There are too many people in the world that do not realize that animals feel sadness, deprivation and pain just as do we humans.

Retirenow14.....humans know it....they just don't care.

A sad observation of the human race, isn't it? True, though. I think the compassion gene was left out of some people.

Kids need to be taught at any early age to respect animals......especially in schools.....their should be a class on environment for plants and animals.
God bless you all and may you find fun amidst all the harsh realities of life - even if it is only here at c4j.
