Elijah --- It's not easy. An adult has to do the carving. Children can help scoop out the "innards! "

Lol. I wish I had a dollar (well, $5 due to inflation) for every punkin' I've carved.

Elijah13, You should try once. Maybe someone could help you find what you need. There is a kit you can buy and also patterns if you don't know what kind of face you want. It is all worth it. I love cat faces myself. Then you can clean the seeds and roast them. Yum.

I have lived in this house for more than 20 years. Maybe I have had 6 kids come trick or treating. I do have some treats just in case!

No! I live in a town in a subdivision but not too many kids around. Usually bring their kids to a central location.
I was getting tired of pumpkins but this was so different. Like JAMP124 said it had neat things in it. A little hard because of a lot of brown but I hadn't done a 192 Classic for awhile. Maybe that was why it was hard. Ha!
The composition of this photo is just right --- rustic. table with leaves, window at dusk, bats, three sizes of lit jack-o-lanterns, a lantern. Well done!
