I thought it was a jackalope at first. Anyone ever hear of these? Some say their nonexistent, others believe they are real. I don't believe it, but you can google it and make up your own mind! lol Let me know what you think.
Having lived in WY, I can tell you it's not real. We use it as a joke on tourists - kind of like a snipe hunt. When you see a head mounted in some store, it's simply a rabbit head with antler tines screwed onto it.

I remember back in the '60's seeing those mounted heads here in AZ, and now that I think of it, they were in touristy places. Thank you!
There are a huge number of jack rabbits in Oklahoma. They get very big and can be aggressive. Anyway that's what I've heard. Have a wonderful Saturday everyone!
When I was a young girl I didn't like doing puzzles and in the past 6 month I have got to ware I love doing them they calm the nerves and you get started and you don't want to stop working on them and time just flies by
Good morning all. We are supposed tohit the mid 80's the next few days which is very warm for NY this time of year. It is beautiful outside and my garden beckons. (Also the birdfeeder is empty. Got a lot of hungry mouths to feed.)

After a couple weeks in the 70's, this week is in the 40's and raining. A lot. That's not the norm in Colorado so there's flooding in several areas. They say we might even have SNOW on Sunday. It's a good thing I like the cold. Happy Mother's Day to me!!

I've only been to Colorado once. It is by far the most beautiful place I've ever been but I was also struck by the changeableness of your weather. When we were at the black canyon we were dying of the heat and a half hour later freezing in a hale storm.
Happy Mother's day Joyce. This will be my first Mother's Day without our son. He never did anything to make mother's day nice for me so maybe it won't bother me too much.

I'm so sorry, pixi...I should have thought about that before posting it on your comment. I guess I always think that Mother's Day is a celebration of all that we as mothers have in common. The sacrifice, endurance, love, etc. My sons are not very demonstrative, so they never think to do anything nice for me either. They get that from their dad, so I usually make my own fun on that day! I make plans for a required family get-together, then I make everyone else do all the work and wait on me for the day! It may be selfish, but I figure it's MY DAY!! I pray that you will have a wonderful day this year, pampering yourself with all the things that your son was not willing or able to pamper you with while he was here. Lots of love and prayers coming your way.
