Took 2 years in high school even tho they were electives for me. College bound kids didn't take it and were sorry when they got to college because of all the term papers, etc. I was so glad I decided to do it. It made college much easier for me.
This puzzle got me to thinking about learning to type a hundred years ago.
I was in junior high--8th or 9th grade. The teacher was a tiny woman and the most perfectly groomed person I'd ever seen. The whole class was kinda afraid of her. Boy, she was a no nonsense little lady--just over 4 ft. tall, I guess. She was good! I turned out to be able to pass a 90 wpm typing test. That was back in the days when our schools actually taught something that students could do to learn a living. It seems to be all fru-fa, baloney, and "politically correct" stuff nowadays. Shameful waste of time and mega money now. Sigh.
