You and I both, hockeyfan....would love to travel again. But like you, no money. :( This is a beautiful puzzle. Love the blue sky, a nice deep blue. Hope you are well today. We are getting rain today. It's damp in the house. It's a good day to do puzzles. :)) Have a great day. :)

Sorry not much response last week or so. Very very ill with a flu virus. Today first day I've felt like doing anything. Then to top it off we are getting 3 to 5 ft of snow from that midwest storm. Unbelievable. Been thinking of you. :}

Hi Hockeyfan,
I was wondering about you. And yes, I figured you did mean to write inches. :)) I've been watching the Weather Channel on the computer. I have seen the storms going through. New England has been the worst winter since we left there. In '92 &'93 terrible snow storms, we didn't know where to put the snow. I lived in a city, there is not much room in those narrow city lots. Eventually we had to throw the snow out into the street.
I've been sick on and off again since my girlfriend Marian came to visit. Same old story for the last 3 years. She brings something with her (her daughter is a school teacher of 2nd graders), visits for a few hours. Then we're sick for at least a month or so. This was the 4th year, so I know it's her. My "sister" and her boyfriend came to visit, just before New Year, I didn't get sick from them. In fact, no mater who comes to visit, I don't get sick from them at all. I'm tired of getting sick, when I was doing so well.
We didn't do much this past weekend. We don't enjoy going out to eat when there are so many people out. Service is terrible and the food is terrible. We go before or after any holiday. We are going sometime this week for our Valentine's dinner, depending on the weather. Did you do anything, yet for Valentine?
Just checked out The Weather Channel dot com, 90% rain for us tomorrow. It's not looking good for your area, you have snowy conditions right now at 8:30pm. Lynchberg, VA is snowing right now, my niece is home alone for the first time in her life. She will have to shovel herself out.
We went out to do some grocery shopping late this afternoon. I bought myself a doughnut! :)) It's been more than 1 year since I had a doughnut. Going to make myself a cup of coffee and enjoy it. :)) Got to go! Drooling at the thought! :)) Enjoy your day tomorrow, and I'm so glad you are feeling better....Take care of yourself. :)

Hi tomandray. Feb. has been a terrible month for us. We both have been so sick with flu. Got over it and got it again. We both are feeling somewhat better. Trying to stay warm inside. Going to be very very cold tonight. Will be using the electric blanket to keep warm while watching our hockey game tonight. Will be making a pot of chili tomorrow. All house work is done. My cousins granddaughter came and cleaned everything up and did laundry. We rewarded her good. Sweet young lady. We haven't done Valentine's yet either. Hoping to go to my favorite restaurant. DaVinci's. About three blocks away. We could get temps up in the 40's this weekend. OH I SURE HOPE SO. LOL Our neighbor has been shoveling our snow for us. We have about 5". Those poor folks in New England. I can see why you live in FL. Hope you get to feeling better soon too. Spring is coming but not fast enough for me. Will write more later. Hugs

Hi Hockeyfan, So nice that you have your cousins daughter to help you around the house and the neighbors for shoveling.
Chili sounds good. Have not had a good pot of chili in a long time.
New England is a mess. Quite a few of my relatives and friends still live there. I don't hear from them, they're too busy digging out and keeping warm.
You're right, spring is not coming fast enough! :))
Hope you both get healthy soon. :)
Take care, dear friend. :)

Tomandray......my heart goes out to all who live in New England. We had 5 or 6 in. and that was enough. LOL Finally got out today a little while. Went to a craft store. Have some ideas for Easter and Fourth of July for my front door. Love to decorate it. Nice and sunny, but breeze and cold. Warmer tomorrow. I am doing so much better than Gene. Hope he doesn't pass it back to me. :(
Hi ElaineNH,
It's rain, rain, rain here in Central West Coast Florida. Damp in the house. Have to wear long sleeves and a sweater. Yesterday was very nice, sunny. Short sleeves, no jacket. What a difference a day makes. Have a great day ElaineNH, and stay warm. :)

Hi ElaineNH, No they are much further south than I am. I'm north of Clearwater, in the Spring Hills area. We had a rather nice day. Sun came out, a bit windy and chilly. It was good to see the sun. :)
I have friends in NH...I once lived there, Nashua. They live in the Milford, Temple and Manchester area. It's been a long time since I've been to NH. Have a great day ElaineNH. :)
It's cool and rainy here in n.e. Fla but this morning I woke to our yard being covered with robins and cedar waxwings coming back through this area on their migration, plus yellow-rumped warblers, a few red-breasted woodpeckers, a downy woodpecker and even a thrush (who was migrating northward - I had to look him up; hadn't remembered seeing one before). Oh, and the pileated woodpecker who winters over in our neighborhood made an appearance. Fantastic!

I had a woodpecker in my garden, but he was trying to put holes in my shed, so I had to shoo him off, shame he was very pretty.

No sisgp, It is not warm here. I live near Detroit, Michigan and it is only 26 here but at least the sun is shining. It is supposed to be very cold over the weekend. I hope it is nicer next week for my birthday on the 20th. My husband will be taking me out for dinner and neither of us need to be out in the cold weather. Spring is only 38 days away! Stay warm.

Well Happy Birthday:) I fear a cold cold snap this coming weekend but I hope that spring starts to appear and that you have a wonderful day.
