You make stripes and then draw a toothpick or spoon handle back and forth to make the points.

I'm asking for prayers for my nephew, my niece's husband. He had a massive heart attack Sunday morning and a paralyzing stroke in the evening. He was taken off life support at noon today. He is 59 and a wonderful human being.

Thank you to all for the prayers and thoughts for my nephew. He passed away Tuesday evening at 8:30 with his loved ones by his side. His funeral will be on Sunday. This is such a difficult time for all of us. He was just a wonderful, caring person.

I just want to thank you all for your continued prayers and comforting words. I have passed them on to my niece. His funeral is going to be on Sunday.

Sorry I have been off of here for a while. My internet service has been down for 2 weeks. Verizon is working on a new system for a 4G which I really do not need nor a lot of other people here where I live. I hope this stays on now. If not, I will be here when I can. I missed our talks these last weeks. Hope you are all safe and warm. God bless you all.

I bought one of those frothy thingies at Starbucks. It was OK, but certainly not worth what they charged for it. I also bought (another time) what I thought was an "ordinary" cup of coffee. Oh yuck! It was so strong, it didn't need a cup and could have stood alone. I figured I could add two more cups of water and it might be OK, but I don't know if even that could have taken away the bitterness. What do people see it in? Again, I guess I am too plebeian to understand it!

Starrphyre I'm with you about Starbucks "coffee." That stuff is nasty. I don't like my coffee so strong it can walk around the table by itself.
