Aussiesapphire, I wish you could be by a lilac bush that is in full bloom. The scent is so heavenly, sometimes I will linger for a few minutes just to inhale all that wonderful aroma! It is indescribable! Have a great day!

I love Lilacs. I grew up with a yard full of them, probably about 15-20 bushes and trees. The scent was incredible but never over powering. I really miss them. I grew up in Rochester NY which is known as "The Lilac City". You can grow them here in No Carolina but they don't like the soil or the climate. They're very spindly but the smell is just as heavenly. As usual, Thanks Staff for the trip down memory lane. Here I have a yard full of azaleas and they're very beautiful but missing the perfume of lilacs.

The Lilacs do have a beautiful sent. I have Lilac & Vanilla candles in my kitchen and it just makes the whole house smell so nice.

Lilacs are one of my husband's favorite flower. They are so fragrant and heavenly smelling. Just love them.

Hi, Aussie - 'ere I be!!!! I got a bit behind on the jigsaws, so have been doing catch-ups - and I just had to do this (very tricky) one - I just love lilacs, they are one of my top favourites. The fragrance is just intoxicating! Lilacs, sweet peas and wallflowers - glorious. How's your back now? Is the Niagara gadget helping? Oh, dear, I almost typed Viagra by mistake! Lol!!!

Hahaha that's what I tell my husband it is called. Still not good, they tell me it is degeneration and there are those who would say that they always knew I was a degenerate. So glad you are OK. Take care.

Jiggler, I haven't tried tessellation yet. that is one for me to attack next.
I could not face doing this lilac in hexagone so tried them in tessellation (20 mn) not too bad, but I really wonder how some puzzlers can do it in 3 mn? ? here in Monaco it is raining we have had funny weather lately
