These are such interesting looking fish. I wonder how they would do in an aquarium (and how would you get it in the aquarium? ). I'm not sure how poisonous they are, but, I wouldn't want to find out from first hand experience either.
They can adapt to tanks easy........but they eat live fish..so I had to feed hey guppies....one time I put a dozen guppies in the tank they lasted 2 days but...funny one guppie was able to hide for months...guppies are freshwater and this guppie survived the saltwater an did well.....nature finds a way.

Thanks for that information Judy! I've often thought of lionfish as being really interesting fish, but not one that I would want to get too close to. That's really interesting about the guppy surviving for months in saltwater.
