Enjoyed this one, it reminds me of Scotland, there are brick caves on Rannock moor where, lots of the( jacko beons) used to live and get ready for there battles? sorry I got the spelling wrong, you can still hear thhe bagpipes, in the hills around rannock moor, spooky but interesting.Well worth a visit if ever one travels up to Scotland.
What are jacko beans? My ancestry (hundreds of years ago) comes from Scotland and I've always wanted to go there. Anything historic from there fascinates me...

I also have always wanted to go there, although I have no reason to believe my heritage comes more from there than anywhere else in Europe. According to Dad we are a "Heinz 57 varieties" of Europeans.

I have had the opportunity to visit Scotland twice and greatly enjoyed both visits.

JoyceRogers, jacko beans is the Scottish slang for Jacobeans, a religious term for Catholics (I think) that is no longer in use.

Thanks, Aknan. I looked it up, but I was still confused. There are about 10 different spellings, and each one has a slightly different definition. If I read it right, these were the warriors that drove my ancestors out of Scotland. They were Presbyterians and left due to religious persecution. Seems things haven't changed much...Man will fight over any difference, won't they? Can't we all just get along? Give peace a chance! Isn't that why Jesus came anyway? Love thy neighbor as yourself! God Bless...
Last weekend on a program called Landline, they did a segment on Llamas and they are quite comical, found myself laughing a few times. So curious and look straight at the camera.

Oh my goodness, I thought that was just a camel thing lol. hugs.

No, aussie, both llamas and alpacas will spit, too.

A cousin of mine raised alpacas and said they don't spit.

Looked up some info on alpacas (should have done so before my 'non-spitting' comment) and found this:
Do alpacas spit: Not very often and usually only at each other, to signal displeasure at a herd member.
My adopted dad for 42 years really loved llamas. When he and I would go to our local Interstate Fair each September, we would stop by and look at each llama and try to pet them. I happen to have a "stuffed" one as well.
Lovely old buildings. What was the reason for the one side of the roof to hang down so low? And where might the grass be on which the llama is grazing?
Beautiful country side. Like Elijah, I am too old to travel anymore. In my 20 years of service in th USAF I traveled the world. Alas those days are over for good
They have these in Maachu Puchu in Peru. I love all these ancient things. Wish I could still go and see them, but do to age I can't do it anymore. Really enjoyed doing this puzzle. Brings back memories of some of my trips.

Take care and God bless. Hugs.
