My first train ride was from Boston to South Carolina upon entering the USMC back in 1951. It gave me a lot of time to think and wonder whether or not I had made the right decision. Fast forward a couple years and I found the love of my life with another Marine and we enjoyed 50 years and 1 day together as well as 8 children to enhance our lives.

I love it.Anything that has to with trains. It runs in the family as my son is now an engineer as was his uncle and probably a few other relatives I don't know about.

Been on many trains - even learned to hitchhike on them in Europe, but that was many, many years ago! With the security they have now, it would be impossible.

"He who has not Christmas in his heart will never find it under a tree."
– Roy L. Smith
"And when we give each other Christmas gifts in His name, let us remember that He has given us the sun and the moon and the stars, and the earth with its forests and mountains and oceans--and all that lives and move upon them. He has given us all green things and everything that blossoms and bears fruit and all that we quarrel about and all that we have misused--and to save us from our foolishness, from all our sins, He came down to earth and gave us Himself."

My son is train engineer an union rep. He started out working on a small hometown train that did excursions for tourists with no pay. He was so determined to get a job working on trains. Over 20 years, he has built himself up into something really big. He now represents the Wyoming Genesee rail company. I am so proud of his accomplishments. He would have to chase that train back home every time he heard the train signal, even it was for only a few miles. The engineer was so used to seeing him that they would blow the whistle just for him as we followed them along the tracks. This started when he was 2 years old and at 41, he is still playing with choo-choo trains, only now, it is the big boy's toys.

Good for him, mamag. Few people have a drem and even fewer get to realize it.

Is that so? I guess I lost track of the process. Well, not point railing about it. It's all tied to progress.

Sorry I'm so dense but are you saying the website does speed puzzling lessons? While I have no interest in being the fastest finger in the West, I would like to know how it's done.

I still like it
