Hi. I'm new to the comments but having fun with them. I just did this one with 220 diamonds. Got dizzy and had come back to it a few times.

Thanks beckydent for mentioning the cut you used. I'm always begging for others to do so. Try this pic using an 88 Wavy to experience the diff. Maybe you can see my comment? Oh, I did this on 5/1/2021 and you did it on 9/7/2020. We missed the boat I think, you sailed earlier.

Huge difference in time. The wavy is tricky because you can't see all the edges but fun. At the time I was new. I usually work in the 100's plus 154 diamonds and 192 Tessellation. I always do the frame first. When I do those two big ones I sort the same cuts together with the other cut that looks about the same except the flat side goes the other way, etc. There are 4 groups similar. Once I have all the pieces matched with two pieces I match 2 and 2 together to make 4 pieces together. By then it is easy to put each 4 pieces in frame. When I read this I confuse myself. If you ever pull up one of those cuts maybe you can see what I mean. I would never do that many 1 piece at a time. I match the whole puzzle in groups of 4 then it is easy to finish up. I think it is the Tessellation that is the easiest. I have the frame in the middle. It gets quit crowded. I do one section at a time and stick them in one corner to make room to do another section. Let me know if you ever try it and can see what I mean.

Hi beckydent! I always do the frame first too, but I don't join the sides together, I leave the sides at the edges of the screen, that way I have lots of room in the middle! I am going to try the Tessallation so I can see if I understand what you are describing! I always do 300 classic, I must branch out it seems. hugs
