Very unusual head. Watched the space shuttle go up this morning at the Cape. All I have to do is to stand on my driveway and look to the East. Not as spectacular as some I have seen.

Do you watch for the space station to go over. I got a lot of people looking at it but they wait for me to tell them when and where to look

Have never seen the space station go over and really haven't looked for it. I have no knowledge of how to find that out.

Go to international space station website and you can sign up for emails for when they go over your area.

Funny. Gotta tell you that I still recall my USMC number from 1951-53. They were serious about never forgetting your number!

I can still remember my university ID number, my first room number, and the phone number that went with it! After writing down the ID every time you took an exam or checked a book out of the library, hardly surprising I remember that!

Its beak looks like it has had a rough time of it. Must have run into some tough nuts to crack.

God bless you all.

Pretty bird. Where did the name come from? What makes it a military macaw?

Per Wikipedia: It is found in the forests of Mexico and South America. It gets its name from its predominantly green plumage resembling a military parade uniform. nlb
