I think this scene is in Monument Valley--on the state line between Utah and Arizona. (Northeast corner of AZ.) Look closely. You may see John Wayne galloping through there somewhere (carefully avoiding the highway! ) This is Navajo Country.

It looks as though the rock formations, which never cease to amaze me, are on fire. Beautiful colors! The Navajo have a wondrous land.
