I learned, some time ago that a young swan is called a "cygnet". I have been practicing saying it since then and am still not sure I can say it right. I'd much rather stick with "chick"!

Nibuchanan, it is pronounced signet if that helps, like a signet ring, or even cignet is the same sound.

They are beautiful, but watch out, they will chase their victims. Ouch! Downtown Orlando has them, beautiful to see at Lake Eola. :) You can even ride the swan boats on the lake...for a fee. Have a great evening! CatLadyOKC...caress for the Crickett! :)) >^-^<

Hi CatLadyOKC, :))))))) You have a funny son...I was going to write this weekend, but sick all weekend long, stomach problems. I was a balloon. Something stuck to my stomach.
