Wonder how felt is made. Is that a stupid question? Any puzzlers out there have an answer?

Felt is a textile material that is produced by matting, condensing and pressing fibers together

Don't know anything about woolen felt fabric. I "felt" this was beyond my knowledge. Loved this puzzle's colors.

The colors in this piece are mostly Primary, Secondary and Tertiary with a touch of neutrals at right far edge. I forget that particular category's name. Does anyone know where Primary colors come from? If anyone cares to know ask me. All colors are created from the Primaries.

This reminded me of a friend who hand-braided a wool rug for their dining room --- room size. It got to the point when she had to move around it while she worked --- it was too heavy to keep moving it. It is beautiful.
