My daughter has a black cat which was mistreated because he was black. With loving care, he has gotten over his fear of people and is a wonderful, loving, sweet cat. He comes to me for petting even though I only see him once a month. What a shame they are mistreated. He is beautiful.
I had 2 beautiful black cats and they made me laugh often. I kept them inside so no one would hurt them. It is a shame that they are mistreated. Mine had the greenest eyes.
This is my second black cat. The first one I had for 18 years and would jump up to me from the floor. Best cat ever. Now I have 3 cats, one Tabby colored, one mostly white with some beige, and one black one. The black one is the most macheivious one. She would do this if she were outside, but all my cats are inside ones.
Cute cat - I guess it's safe for people to adopt black cats again. Supposedly, shelters won't adopt black cats around Halloween because of some of the cruel things people do to them. Also, for some reason, at least in the United States, black pets don't get adopted or bought as often as other color pets. It's amazing that many of us are still superstitious about black cats (and dogs).
