Love the dalias, we had a fab display last year, neighbours thought we growing them to display them at shows, if we are lucky enough to get them this year, will take a photo and send one on to the team.But as usual it all depends if we get the right weather.
Silly Dahlia story for you: As most of you know, I live in the Pacific Northwest. A friend had recently moved up from Texas and had never heard of a "Dahlia" before. Out on a country road one day, she saw a sign that said 'Dahlia's $4.00 per dozen'. She commented she thought that was awfully expensive for a dozen eggs. ;-) (and yes, after I stopped laughing I told her what a Dahlia was)
