I'm happy here in the California sun. I found Florida too humid for me. Much smaller chance of hurricanes here also..

We are in n.e. Florida and have a naval orange tree (plus a Key lime tree, a pomegranate tree, a persimmon tree, a guava tree, and three blueberry bushes! ) Love to be able to go out and pick the fruit. Besides the lovely fruit itself, the skins of the naval oranges make yummy candied orange peel.

Sounds good to me. If I ever get away from the cold I'll buy an orange tree. My bro had lemons and grapefruits in SF area. He's near Phoenix now. If I lived near there I'd want oranges and a date palm.

If you ever buy a lemon tree, buy a Meyer lemon. The fruit is larger than a regular lemon (except those huge lemons), is a little rounder, and isn't as sour as a regular lemon. We LOVE them!
