I've been so proud of my tomato plants and now the squirrels are eating all my little green baby tomatoes. Tried everything the local extension office suggested plus some things I found on line. Nothing helps and I refuse to harm them. Any other suggestions gratefully received!!
Have you tried a wire netting all around them? That means like a cage. Have it some distance from the plants so that the squirrels can't reach through. It's a hassle for sure. Good luck!

Thanks, I did see this on line and my son said he'd see what he could do but..tools are NOT his thing. I may try to do it myself. Everything takes 4 times as long from the chair but I AM good with tools. I was a tomboy and my Dad taught me. We'll see.
How invite-ing the toms look, just had my tea so I am very full maybe Friday after our day out at Harrogate, shopping at one of my favourite shops, Lakeland where the do lots of interesting bake ware, fabulous shop if you are over in England and you like doing different things in the KITCHEN THIS IS ONE SHOP YOU MUST TRY I AM SURE YOU WILL NOT BE Disappointed and just over the road there is the famous Betty's buy goods from there but never had one of the meals.

There ought to be a different name for store-bought tomatoes!
