Lovely picture of Paris - been there a couple of times. The city of lights - ate at a great restaurant named Le Souffle. They were famous for Souffles. Our hotel was 2 blocks from this hotel. The last time we went to Europe my father hired a travel consultant firm - the name is so cute - Oh the places you'll go. They can tell you where to stay, eat and will even book restaurant and event stuff for you.
I loved my all to brief visit in Paris in 1992 - it is such a great city. The hotel I stayed was near the Place de la Republique (there should be an accent mark over the first "e" in Republique", but I don't know how to add them using Windows). This is where the Charlie Hebdo protests were centered. It was also next to an old church, Ste. Elisabeth, which is where the dauphin, Louis XVII was murdered during the French Revolution. The one drawback to the hotel I stayed at was Ste. Elisabeth had bells that rang fairly early every morning and my room overlooked the church.
