I'm so embarrassed to admit this--but guess what? Due to my continuing migraines & rain throughout March, April & May--I ordered some silk flowers to border my gardenia bushes. Now, keep this in mind--this is only a scientific experiment--not laziness on my part...Someone once came into my pharmacy & told me I had too many flowers in my gardens--hmmmph! I told that woman any garden can never have too many flowers--Let's see how these fakes hit her. These are silk (natural) & the stems are....ta-da...plastic! My husband told me I planted most perennials about 30 yrs ago & not too worry. When he was pulling the half-dead azaleas & trying to get roots out so frost-proof gardenias could get in, I think he may have been thinking about himself...30 years ago.
