I thought this would be as hard as the mosaic from a few days ago but it turned out to be easy enough.
This year I raised cleomes from seed. My mother used to grow them and I never liked them especially. In those days they were either white of baby pink--neither color my fav. But there's a new one in orchid and cerise bicolor I couldn't resist. I hope they do well and become reseeders. Most of the stuff in my yard is. Sometimes I get tired of a reseeder and find another more agressive reseeder to crowd them out. I have reintroduced one I did that to--calendulas. One thing great about those is that they look just like zinnia seedlings until they get older and the varmints and bugs don't like them. I could never get zinnias past the seedling stage until I fooled everything that wouyld eat them up by interplanting calendulas.
Wishing you a way to outsmart your "varmints."

Within everything is the seed of a new beginning.
