How do they get those points so fine, mine always seem to break off in the pencil sharpener.
"Sorry to share such sad news:
With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went unnoticed last week. Larry LaPrise, the man that wrote "The Hokey Pokey" died peacefully at the age of 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in...
And then the trouble started."

Had a real downpour about half an hour ago and they are predicting a perfect day for tomorrow. One of the people on here said they were enjoying a holiday at the beach. Made me realize that living at the beach is pretty special and I need to take advantage of it. So tomorrow going to my favourite picnic table, with coffee etc and a good book and spending some time in the fresh air..
Hi aussiesapphire I was gone for a few weeks and really missed your quotes and pearls of wisdom. I hope you have a lovely time at the beach. I go to the mountains to recharge. Nature is so calming and healing. the best of everything to you always!!!

Hi tutudiane, thank you for your kind words. I love the mountains and waterfalls as well. So beautiful to just sit and reflect. Hugs.

If your points break off in the pencil sharpener you need to get a better sharpener. I went through years of not-so-good sharpeners till I finally found some good ones.

I have two elec. Boston ones, one is plug in & one is battery both will put a sharp point on them. Have had both of them for years. I also have a small holder for fine sandpaper that I use to finish the point

I try to carry a small mirror with me so I can take time to reflect, but some elderly man keeps jumping in front of me so I can never see myself.

Hubby & I keep looking for the old people that are living in our bathroom mirrors, if you find them you can keep them.

Do you need another laugh, our old cat won't use the litter box anymore, he will only use puppy pads-guess he thinks he is now a puppy!

That's really weird. Maybe he doesn't like the litter getting in between his toes in his old age. Hey, at least he goes on the pads, right?!

Yes, AS, that was very sad about Larry's passing. They finally gave him a bury 'em enema before they could take him to the cemetery.
I threw the two little pencil sharpeners away like the one shown in this puzzle. I have a electric one at work, and one that takes a battery. I am so spoiled now, that I think all the others belong in the dinosaur ages.
Enjoyed finding the pencils, but did not like the solid brown background....so I saved it for a rainy day, literally...today in southern Oregon it poured. The puzzle is done, Yeah!
Good morning everyone, hope you all have a good week. Lovely colors, reminds me I have a picture to finish coloring with my pencils. I have one of those coloring books for adults they have been advertising. Mine is one of ocean scenes, they are very intricate. I find it relaxing and it helps me forget about the stress I'm under.Be safe
I wish we could all be more like the pencil sharpener. It doesn't care what color the pencil or if it is a No. 2 pencil or a No. 1. It tries to help each pencil make a good impression and look sharp. Do you get the point?
