Christmas jigsaw puzzle online for adults and children of a red lantern with a cut out image of a pine tree. The festive Christmas lantern is beside a reindeer wearing a ribbon bow.
The very first Christmas morning that I remember details about was the one where I actually got the train set I'd been longing for all season. Most little girls, when I was small, wanted dolls and tea sets and miniature houses. I wanted a train set, and every Santa or Santa's helper I saw, I remember telling him that the ONLY thing I wanted was a train set. So this picture brings back a flood of memories for the thrill of that special Christmas morning when my wish came true.

Memories are so rewarding. Glad your wish came true. My Dad always had a train set under our tree when I was growing up. He gave it to me and I put it under my tree until my grandson was born and I passed it down to my son for the grandson.

Nice tradition to pass down, and fortunate you cared for your set so that it could be! I don't know what happened to mine -- Mom and Dad divorced, I got sick, lots of moving. Like most childhood things, mine is lost in the past -- everything except that happy memory. But all physical life is temporary -- this old hand-me-down world being a testing ground for the eternal spirit -- and I have many more happy memories than sad. May you have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year, too! Toot the horn once for me when you see your son and grandson.

You made me smile. :) I sure will. Glad the happy memories out number the sad ones. Hope your Christmas was nice and Happy New Year to you too. :)
My brother use to have a wonderful train set that we would assemble every Christmas and play for hours with it. This was back in the forties...a long time ago.
You can tell that this is a newer model train. It has a lot of plastic on it. But it is a neat train, thanks staff for a great puzzle and for this site, which allows me the privilege of talking with people all over the world. This site gives me so much and I am so happy that I got the bigger package so I can do both pictures a day.
I agree about the plastic, but it still brought back pleasant memories. And I also agree about the site! It is truly one-of-a-kind, and the puzzlers are, too! Merry Christmas, cindyj28.
