Many years ago, I had a lab mix, but she would NEVER play fetch. In fact she wasn't so big on playing at all! Only wanted to glue her nose on the ground and wander off. Oh well...

My dog Nickodemus likes little empty boxes, plastic fast food cups, and my underwear lots better than he likes dog toys. If the toy is stuffed and has a squeaker, he makes short work of it and gets the noise maker and all of the stuffing out and all over the floor in a mere wink! Oh, and he adores facial tissues and paper towels, wallets, shoes, belts, etc.

One of our boxers used to love tearing cardboard egg cartons to bits - only if given permission, however. My long-haired dachshund, in a snit because I left her in the bathroom n a new house while I unpacked, unrolled all the toilet paper and tore it to pieces - on black furry carpet, no less!
