Most other nation's currency is much more colorful than the United State's. I remember the Dutch banknotes before the Euro even had raised symbols so the blind could tell what denomination the bill is. Also, each denomination were different sizes and they'd have multiple colors. The US currency has been the easiest to counterfeit.
