One summer I fed baby red foxes after their mother was run over by a car. They were staying in a culvert that went under the road, but they would come running out every morning and evening when they would hear me.
When we lived in the Catskills we would visit a restaurant on a mountain that also treated abandoned baby animals.
We were treated to skunks, turkeys, deer and kits. There was a family of raccoons that had taken over the interior (thy lived in the ceiling)and they would come out and beg food while you ate on the porch. You did not want to tell them "no." With the deer they would come running from the woods when the fellow whistled, and drink from a baby bottle.
What did you feed the foxes?

My hubby's family farm had a red fox that lived near a stream in one of the fields, every year she would bring her kits up near the barn so she could show them off, one year she had three, but usually it was only 2.
