Saint Basil's Cathedral Premium Jigsaw Puzzle

Just thinking of walking down a street with such colorful buildings makes me smile.

Louis Henri Sullivan changed the aesthetic of architecture into only what is functional ruined it. I think it happened in the late 1800's-early 1900's. That change stripped away all decoration and made bare girders the more acceptable option. It was an aesthetic that also changed any manufactured item into boring, look alikes without decoration.
I love all the invention and whimsy in this building. It belongs in a land of gingerbread houses with gumdrop trees.

I love this cathedral since I was thirteen years old an had to do an essay about Russia, and I had the priviledge to see it eigth years ago.

This Disney-looking photo, the spectacular St. Basil's Cathedral in Moscow, was commissioned by Ivan the Terrible in the 16th century to commemorate a military victory. It is easily the most famous sight on Red Square.

Looks like a fairytale, from a children's book.
