Dear friends at C4J - I am home and I find it so hard to believe it happened as it was unlike anything I ever imagined a heart attack to be - very little pain but a racing heart at 140 to 145 and at one stage in the hospital 150. I had the best care from nurses, doctors and staff that you could possibly imagine and in two different hospitals when the first hospital didn't have the equipment needed for testing. I even met some beautiful Christians on staff there.
My husband was unbelievable and know he is just worn out as the second hospital where I spent most of the time was an hour and a half's drive from where we live and he was there most mornings at 8am. I did have some fun with some of the staff members and found with age you have the courage to say things you would not have said years ago lol. One staff member in particular was a Scottish guy who dubbed me his "problem child" and we had a lot of laughs.
The end result was that it was put down to age and after a dye test yesterday the cardiologist said I have the heart and arteries of a 17 year old, albeit and not too well 17 year old.
I want to thank all of you for your prayers, love and concern - how many sites are there such as this to give this kind of support. Thanks a million and my husband reiterates these sentiments. I love you all. Hugs from one very grateful Aussie.
So glad you are back....you have been missed....many have been asking for you......stay healthy girl.....you are loved by all.

Glad to see you back on here. I do not comment very often, but read and enjoy all of your banter. You and Pipipixil stand out the most to me. I am 50 and live in the North Georgia mountains about an hour north of Atlanta. I play a puzzle at work when I need a break. This is a very nice little community and I am pleased to be a part of it. Enjoy this spring day, I guess fall in Australia...

Dearest aussie,
It is with a heart full of gratitude to God that I tell you how glad I am that you're home and safe. You must take excellent care of yourself so that your home family and C4J family can have you around for years to come.
I've had one heart attack and, years later had a pacemaker put in. (When they did the pacer operation my heart was only beating 14 times a minute.)

Aussie I had just posted a comment on another puzzle that I hope we hear some good news about you and then checked back on here and here is your post that you are home now. Was so happy and relieved to see that!
Make sure you take it easy and get plenty of rest and it sounds like your hubby needs some rest too but sounds like he held up well thru it all.
I already know today is going to be a good day after hearing this and got to hear this good news on my oldest daughters birthday too!
Take care. We have missed you!

Thank you seems hardly adequate when confronted by this outpouring of love, concern and prayers. You are all such a wonderful bunch of people and I look forward to eternity when we will all meet. My husband has also been quite touched by your prayer support and I really have been slack on not giving praise to God without whom none of this love and friendship would have been possible and I thank Him that he has always had his hand on my life and kept me safe, as He does with each and every one of you. Thank you again, you all sure know how to bring tears to my eyes and I will be eternally grateful to Kevin and team for making it all possible. Thanks a million and as many more hugs.

Me too. Anything under 35 and over 25. That's a very pretty and unusual name. Does she like her name? I hope so.

She sounds like a wonderful, sweet young lady. You are blessed, Seaview.
Yes, there was, and I think Burt Lancaster was one of the stars. Wasn't there a famous scene of he and the female lead kissing while lying in the surf on the beach? Was deemed fairly racy for the times...

That film was "From Here to Eternity" in 1950's with Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr and was very racy for its time. I think it was filmed in Hawaii. Hugs.

"From Here to Eternity" is considered a classic movie with Frank Sinatra, Montgomery Cliff, Burt Lancaster, Deborah Kerr, Donna Reed and is about being at Pearl Harbor just before December 7, 1941.
Glad you are back Aussie!

There was a movie called "The Sandpiper", with Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, filmed I think in Big Sur. No kissing in the surf there (just everywhere else!!!!! )
Thankful to hear from you Aussiesapphire! You are loved by all of us here on this site and glad to know that you are on the mend. Blessings to you and your husband! You are Loved!
Thank you minkacat, I have been surprised and overwhelmed at the love poured out on this site, from regular posters and those I have not seen posting on here before. Thank you so much. Hugs.
