If you use electric heat, there is a way to heat areas economically. Even Walmart sells the electric heaters that are cool on the outside, and very cheap and efficient. One brand is Eden Pure, and 5 years ago we bought one for $359 that heated the entire trailer in which we spent weekends. The electric bill rose very little.
We had a terrible storm this afternoon and three times the crash of thunder and the flash of lightening were almost simultaneous. So it will be interesting to see if anything was hit close by.
