When we were first in Scotland we went into a store and at check-out the clerk said the price of the items. I smiled at him and asked him to repeat it. He apologized that I hadn't understood him and I smiled and said, "Oh I understood what you said, but I absolutely love your accent and just wanted to hear it again." He smiled and blushed and we both had a good chuckle from it.
It could be just a deformity. It sometimes happens I have been told. He looks like a very healthy cow/bull/steer tho. Some american cattle do have horns.
