I have a few of these seashells in my bathroom. I think their different colors and patterns are so interesting.

Colorful shells like this have not been on the beaches I have gone to. They have some color on them, but not this vivid!

Shell Beach on Shelter Island must have been where I saw them. They are called mermaid's toenails and really do look like translucent toenails with pearly peach colored polish on them.

I'm a fan of shells. There's a beach on Long Island that has pearly yellow and peach colored ones. I only went there once as a kid but it was magical to see those shells all over the beach. They were like gems.
