My husband and I went to South Korea to visit his son in the service. We stayed for two weeks before he came back from somewhere he was sent. We were near where they call Food Street. Early on we ordered some fitted clothing and when we got home, the clothing didn't fit until we lost some weight. We had eaten our way through Food Street!
Amazing how the structures in a country with frequent earthquakes not only remain standing but in perfect condition. Would love to see the Orient. I'll visit after I get my resurrected body--just like all the other places I'll never see in this life.
Hope you are feeling well today.
I'm also waiting for my "resurrected body". However, that's not on my list because other things are more important! Have a great day! Have never been to the Orient but some of my relatives by marriage were born there.

My brother-in-law was a missionary priest until he met his wife in Korea and had a child and settled there. We have never gone over there but he and his wife and daughter have come here.
Found this: "The Torii is a gateway that signals the transition from the profane to the sacred, as it is usually located at the entrance to Shinto shrines, though it isn't rare to find them even at the entrance of Buddhist temples."
Hope you are feeling well today.
