Love the scenery and the snow man looks as though he is ready to sweep the old year out and let you all have a verry happy new year, a wee bit early, but as the saying goes, better to be early than late.Health and happiness to all and happy new year, god bless to you all.
I am a big fan of weather reports on the 'net. I had three sites going. One of 'em said it was going to snow the next day. The other two said 70% chance of rain. We did have a few showers that day--no big deal. I deleted the "snow site folks" - wonder what kind of grog they had going there! We have had a few skiffs over the last 10 yrs. in my desert (about 3500 ft) or so, but never on Christmas. I'm jealous of everyone who gets to have a White Christmas. Sigh. What a warm and cheerful cabin pictured here. Just love it!
Enjoyed this one and how christmassy this log cabin looks, you can fair hear the wood on the fire crackling and spitting the splinters out, makes one feel quite welcome-ing just looking at it, thank you team for this one.
Thank you for the spirit of Christmas --- in northern climates!
How about one in southern climates. Did that during WWII when my Dad was in the service, but right now I can't imagine it!
I agree, it's only 27 (about 2 pm) here and that is way to cold for me....

Sound like you need a couple of nice warm blankets. Very cold in your area. Put a couple of extra logs in the fireplace if you have one. :)

Tomandray: Hope you had a good Thanksgiving, just got on son cleaned my computer this morning. We have a free standing fireplace, but have never had the chimmey installed (moved it several times) only has elec. decorative logs in it, the Crickett told hubby to turn it on the last cold spell. We had him to vet yesterday, he got in a fight early Sun. am, not sure what the other cat looks like, but he was really beat up. 2 bits on his front neck & one under his front leg (in the armpit area). We found the front ones, bleeding very heavy & got it stopped & put med, but had not found the other one, they gave him a shot - he was running a fever. He said he was lucky the one was very near (maybe even nicked) the jugler, but he would be okay would just take several days & he should be just fine. He is having trouble navigating the stairs so he now has food, water & puppy pads in his room & our son has been carrying up & down the stairs. He is really doing much better today, still stiff and sore but looking much better. He says to tell KitKat hello & he will protect her if she needs him too.

Hello to Crickett from KitKat, he's such a funny fellow. >^.^< Any fireplace will do, freestanding or conventional. The warm glow it gives off, "warms" a room. Crickett is a smart guy. The other animal must have been limping away. :) Wish Crickett a hearty Get Well wish from KitKat and the two of us.
We had a very good Thanksgiving, we went out to eat and then went over to Disney and did a "Lobby and Lights" tour on our own. It was very relaxing, beautiful day. Hope yours was wonderful too.
We are still boxing up our belongings. Was feeling under the weather today, so slowed things down a bit. Leaving on the 15th, can't wait. :)
Well that's it for me, getting to bed. Take good care of yourself, Crickett and family. Keep warm, and have a wonderful tomorrow. :)
