Not an easy one to do. Having lunch with my school retirees that I worked with while teaching. Haven't done this for a long time since they live quite far away from where I live now. Will be wonderful to chat again. Have a great day. I know I will.

Speaking of Reunions...My 50th Year Reunion was going to be this summer, but the committee thought it would be prudent to postpone until next year since we're just coming off the Pandemic. Okay...Yay! Another year to lose a hundred-fifty pounds! I've lost 49 pounds so far in the last 6 months. My doctors are all over me about losing weight, and it's about time to listen to them! Please pray for me!

Reunions remind me: I had the joy of taking my dad to his 70th college reunion in Berea, Kentucky about a decade ago, when he was 92 years old. Only one other classmate was there but did they have fun! When I took him to his 65th one there were 11, and they made jokes the whole time about who would make it to their 70th. Such wonderful memories, and it meant so much to him.

We had our 65th high school reunion 2 years ago. Still quite a few of us still "kicking"! There were 120 in our class. College graduation was 63 years ago

Yes, I taught 36 years. When I retired I went on many trips all over the world--some on ships, some tours. So glad I did it then. Couldn't do it now (age) and also would be scared to do it because of how the world is.

What did you teach? I taught French and German to middle school students for 19 years. I took my students on several trips to Europe. I've traveled a little bit and I've taken 2 cruises, but I would love to do more, although at my age traveling is more difficult and of course, now it's not really a good idea.
Interesting quilt with a nice blend of colors. I made a quilt once and it is in my bedroom, but it does not compare to this one. Very nice. Have a fantastic day and may blessings be always with you.
