Sixties Pennies Jigsaw Puzzle

When I taught first grade, on Lincoln's Birthday I had a writing exercise that the children (and I) loved.
"A penny is not much I hear.
But looking from it kind and clear,
Is Lincoln's face."
---- and I would attach a shiny penny to each of their papers!

Well here goes....."a penny for your thoughts".

That took forever - I lost all cents of time

I made this harder than it should have been. I started with the faces. I should have started with the numbers.

That was very hard to do.
