Freesias and daffodils. Ah spring. I used to buy freesia toiletries for my mother. We both loved their smell.

Guess many people will be looking for spring flowers like ths. Warm down here--90's in the day and 70's at night. Not ready for summer--just some much needed rain--NO rain during the month of April. Waiting for the summer rains to come. Our ground is so brown and so many wild fires now.

Not an easy puzzle, but so worth it. Beautiful flowers with beautiful colors. Wish they were abloom in my garden. :)

Beautiful batch of flowers. I would rather have flowers like this growing in my yard than a bouquet of roses from a florist.

Thanks anulik. I thought freesias were too temder for Alaska. Are they in a greenhouse? I have often thought of planting them but thought upstate NY was too cold.

Yes, aknon & pixipixil, I am in CA...Recent heavy rain, after long time drought, caused all plants to "wake up" & start growing, blooming!

Right now, my garden is full of Freesias, so colorful & gorgeous! ! Cala lilies, roses & jasmines!

And also my Lilac is blooming! Lemons are getting bigger & bigger! Last week temp was 89-92F....

Thanks anulik. I think I smell those jasmines. Heavenly. (in my dreams)
The winter was so mild everything was coming up then March hit with arctic cold and Stella. Nothing now but melting snow.
Did you have any flooding in your area?

I'm turning green with envy (which is better than blue from cold) because we still have 3 feet of snow. Breakup isn't anticipated until April this year....

So glad to hear it. My brother used to live in Fremont--an hour drive from SF. I'm so glad he isn't there any more. He almost moved to Washington State but didn't do that either TBTG.
