Years ago when I was having radiation treatments, the room was darkened and the ceiling lit with a huge photo, mainly of tulips. It did just what it was designed to do --- distract the patient! About a year later, I was visiting Keukenhof Gardens in the Netherlands. I stood at what might have been the spot where that photo was taken --- and cried --- overwhelmed with thankfulness that I was there and well.
For me, the ceiling was covered with huge photos of cherry blossoms. I saw them in Washington, DC, one year and they were lovely. It really helps to get you through the treatment, doesn't it? Our MRI & CTscan rooms also have murals; one is of the sea and the lovely reefs there.

I am glad you are well and got to experience seeing a spot that was meaningful in your life.

Nice to remember things like that especially when you don't have it anymore and good has come of it.

Had no idea they did that. I didn't know they darkened the room. Have never talked to anyone that has gone through that. Sorry you JAMP14 and aknan had to go through that. Glad you are OK now.

That's a beautiful story and it will stay with me forever.
Lovely, beautiful tulips! What a joyous picture for this morning. I hope your day is lovely and beautiful, also. Have a day of joy, love and blessings from, and for, family and friends.
