That's the easy way. Try eating the hole first next time.
I do-nut think you can.

I meant literally. We used to go to Buffalo for a competition when I was young and the motel was across the street from a donut shop...one which sold donut holes long before it became fashionable. I looked forward to buying a bag whenever we went. (Now I can't eat donuts at all.)

The hole is just empty calories. So I don't eat it.

I just remembered why those donut holes in Buffalo were so special. They gave you a free bag of them if you bought a dozen donuts. Try and get anything like that for free today!

We used to only be able to get them in the summer as the Toronto Exhibition (held every end of summer) but now you can get them in the grocery store. They're not special any more. And when you got them at the Ex, they were hot!

It depends on where you get them. You can still get them hot if you get them out of the microwave. Of course you have to put them IN the microwave first.

But, PW, if you put them in the microwave after you've bought them, then the sugar melts. And all that lovely sugar is gone! That just spoils it all as part of the attraction is the sugar that the donut (or doughnut) holes are rolled in!
I'm not usually into donuts very much but right now I could really go for that chocolate frosting and it would be too rich by itself so I would even take the donut.
I do-nut think you can.
This was a hexagon puzzle for 96 points that I finally thought I'd try for a change. I did it in 51 minutes and some odd seconds.
God bless you all.
