When I was a kid we heated the house with a Franklin stove, so it was always lit during December..So I had two questions for my mom. First: "How does Santa fit down the chimney? " ("He shrinks so he can fit.") And second: "Okay, but then how does he get out of the stove?? " She didn't have an answer for that.
How blessed you would be to have a warm fire when cold and food on the table to nibble. Simple and sweet I say. Welcome friends and family with something warm/cool to celebrate their coming. Cookies, bread and sweets to share. Love of Christ in all of us. Be blessed.
