On my bucket list for when and if I get to heaven. My other choices-Plivice Park Croatia, Park Guell Barcelona, Angel Falls & the Tepuis in Venezuela, the cave in Mexico with the huge crystals, the Torgat mountains in Canada, the place in Portugal with the giant waves which when already deceased I plan to surf and watch.
There are two places I know of with these formations. One is in Arizona in the Vermillion Cliffs area. This section is called the "Wave" and you have to enter a lottery to get a permit to hike and see it. The hike is rather long and on unmarked trailless territory so you need to be an expert at recognizing landmarks and using a compass. Needless to say we never attempted it. I would have tried it if I had had the opportunity when young and knew about it.
The other area is on a trail about a mile in in the Valley of Fire area of the Lake Mead recreation area in Nevada. I tried to see it last year but couldn't find the trailhead. By the time I did it was too late in the afternoon to do it and we were already tired out. The next day I opted to do a pastel rather than look for it. I hope we can get back there some year soon.

This would be an interesting place to see! Great Puzzle!
Thanks Staff for all you do!
