My whole family LOVED strawberries!!! Our home town was the strawberry capital of the world for several years until the crops "fizzled" out. Then we had to have the strawberries shipped in from Walla Walla, WA in order to continue our Strawberry Festival in Deary, Idaho.

I'm having strawberries on my oatmeal this morning. Love strawberries but the price certainly has gone up recently. The reason for this is that the strawberry season is over now in Florida. Our big season for cheap strawberries is February and March where they are grown nearby.
