I've done latch hook rugs - I did them when I was young. One rug was made itno a pillow. My mother had it done for me as a xmas gift one yr.

That was sweet. I'll bet it made a very nice pillow. I started a latch hook rug once but never finished it. I like projects that don't take that long. Definitely into instant gratification!
A pretty mystery for today
yesterday seemed so long it was kinda of lonely
do any of you ever have days like that?
I don't very often
it was cloudy all day
I quilted some and tore som
I didn't finish the above
this darn computer has a mind of its own
I was saying I tore some rug strings
hope all my puzzle friends have a good day

Are you going to make a knotted rug? Yes, I have those kind of days like you had, and I'm glad they don't happen very often, too. I have found that turning a light on in the room I'm using, when it's cloudy outside helps a lot.

That's something I think I would have enjoyed learning to do. Arthritis is setting into my hand pretty bad now, so I don't think I could do it. I once took care of a 96 year old lady who crocheted every single day for hours. Her doctor told her to keep at it, as that's what was keeping her fingers nimble.

I can't work at it long at the time
I have arthritis also and back troubles
my middle finger on both hands locks up
i will be 90 the 10th of Jan. so I ain't no spring chicken
i still live alone but my son and daughter live close by
they look out for me
i thank God for them

I'm sorry to learn of your ills, those fingers locking up must be painful. 90 years old, and you're working jigsaw puzzles online! Bravo! It must be nice having your adult children nearby to look out for you. Sounds like you're pretty blessed.

Agree rahrah - that she's lucky - my grandmother was in her 90's and didn't know how to use the computer.

Glad to hear that the son and daughter look after her!
I love this puzzle as I love to crochet. I make many afghans but that's about it. I have difficulty reading direction. Happy New Year to you all. I so enjoy doing the puzzles.

the crochet directions are not as easy to read as they use to be
