This reminds me of a photo of my grandparents shortly after their marriage --- sitting in a field of daises. Just like this one of sunflowers.
It was in Prince Edward Island in about 1903
In the North of Yorkshire, England not much Sunflowers they seem to be growing a lot of Rapeseed they do say it healthy for the heart. But got to admit children love to grow Sunflowers each child has one seed and they give a prize to the child with the biggest Sunflower.

I live in Oregon. I have driven through North Dakota on different occasions and have seen the fields full of sunflowers. Awesome!

Hi jaffacat: If you are still around, C4J had a puzzle of a field of rapeseed on April 11, 2014. If it were canola type rapeseed it would have been a brighter yellow but it will give you some idea.
