"Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs - even though checkered by failure - than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat." —Theodore Roosevelt
"It may look like the difficulty is going to defeat you. But you need to keep telling yourself, "This sickness can't take my life." "This cancer can't defeat me." "No bad break, no disappointment, no accident can shorten one second of my divine destiny." – Joel Osteen
That Roosevelt quote is typical of the man. His daughter, Alice Roosevelt Longworth, said, "Father always wanted to be the baby at every christening, the bride at every wedding, and the corpse at every funeral."

I can vouch for Joel Osteen's thoughts ----- thirty-one years later and I'm still here.
Pretty scenery. I've been to a destination where the water was very clear and turquiose. You could see all the way to the bottom of the ocean. Bought perfume that was much cheaper than in the U.S.
I like doing Lighthouse puzzles, because those remind me of "Guiding Light" soap opera on CBS! Josh & Riva...Were anyone watching that serial? I watched since 1989 up until the end of it in 2009...I was a fan of the show...
