Ratheer be here than freezing in Florida today. Was 32 last night so had to cover some plants. Still covered probably for 2 more nights. Only in the 40's here now and its 1:22 pm.
Yup, looking forward to it warming up some. It's 54 inside the house today. I hate our hot weather and look forward to the cooler months, but this is a little too cold.

I'm in Florida as well - I'll never forget the day we went to Discovery Cove in Disney World. It was gray skies and about 45 deg. F - we were going to be swimming with the dolphins.

We will be fine tonight so coverings are coming off. My "cat" lady is stopping by soon and I will have her help me with my "big" covering. Have a good day. Tired of this cold weather. Ready for some spring-like weather.

A pipe burst in my building at work last night, so when the storage tank of water ran out I got to come home early. Plant blankies coming off tomorrow.

I guess lucky for you. During the 2 nights of freezing weather I let my outside faucets drip--just to be on the safe side. Have a great day.

Usually the cirtus crops are effected when it gets down to freezing.

My landlord has me run my kitchen faucet when it's a hard freeze warning. I don't know why they didn't do that in the building. The break was just this side of the meter.

Update: The begonias are still alive and blooming. Now I try to remember to water them daily. :)

I'll trade you guys for some of our ice, sleet, & snow...cold in the 20's, but just rain tomorrow & temps are going up again next week. Our fan on out furnace died, got someone out finally in the afternoon, house was cold down to 58 before they got it fixed, but toasty warm now with the fan replaced, but well be glad to anyone of you the bill if you would pay it for me, the fans are not cheap! We also updated our thermometer this one is much easier for us to use! This on top of the sewer replacement this last few months have really a big drain on our budget! Have a great day and all of you hope you get some warmer weather!

You sound like me. I had to have a part connected to the fan for my AC to work. However mine took 4 days because the part had to be ordered but weather did cooperate with me last week. Last night on our news they had a picture of a girl in Oklahoma City trying to take the trash container up her driveway. I thought of you and wondered if you were part of it. I guess you were. Glad your heat is up and running again. We are having April weather this month. 80's in the daytime.

We are actually in Moore so we have a own trash pickup-we are on Fri...& usually the guys that pick it up will bring back to the house for us...great group of guys. I think that was probably OKC pick up some of their bins are even larger than ours. We stay in this kind of weather!!! Moore is a small city about 60, 0000 tucked in between OKC & Norman....

Our weather has been crazy. April weather in February--80's during the day and 60's at night.
Looking at the moving water below, I move we table this motion.
I saw these recently: Rene Descartes walked into a tavern and the bartender asked if he would like a beer. He said, "I think not" and promptly disappeared.
A German fellow was in a bar and asked the bartender for a martini.
"Dry? " asked the bartender.
"Nein, " replied the German. Just one.
There is a game played at NASA where someone puts a word or phrase on a long paper and hangs it on a door. the object is to form a question or statement where the given word is the next statement. One day the answer was "9W". The winning entry was "Do you spell your name with a V Mr. Wagner? "

On second thought, let's leave the table where it is since it provides such a nice view of the water. Now I am being more chair-itable.
